Introduction
Dark Forest is a custom zone on Eclipse designed as a "farmzone" for groups. The zone features dozens of quests and activities. In our Dark Forest Zone guide, we'll outline all the important activities of this zone, such as quests, collecting rare drops, bosses and their strategies.

Unlocking the Dark Forest Zone on Eclipse
To unlock the main features of the zone such as the daily quests, you have to complete a pre-quest chain first. Find a Dark Forest Recruiter Bot in the Mall to start the chain.

The Bot will direct you to Governor Krasus on the top floor of the Mall's Portal Building.

Ask a guard for directions or use the command .tele office if you're stuck. These are the quests to complete the chain:

After completing the Pre-Quest line, complete the following quests given by Commander Jones, Dean Smith, Sam Wesson, and Archmage Tiberius in the Camp.

After you unlocked the quests in the Camp, you'll find all daily quests from there. You can find one of the quests below from the questgivers randomly per day.

Zone Drops
Every elite enemy in the zone drops 2 Empire Coin for all party members. Boss drops include BG Set Items and Accessories, as well as Empire Shard, Void Artifact and zone specific turn in items.

Turn-ins
Green Dark Forest Shard, Blue Dark Forest Shard and Purple Dark Forest Shard from drops and any Dark Forest Gold Coin from hidden chests can be turned in at the Dark Forest Turn-ins NPC in the Camp.

Dark Rune
Dark Rune is a low chance drop from all elites and bosses in the zone. It's used as the currency to buy Ritual Stone an item used for summoning bosses in the Gurubashi Arena.
Find the Special Items vendor in the Camp to turn-in.

The Zombie Invasion Event
Every 3 hours, a Zombie Invasion Event starts at the camp and various tpye of zombies begin attacking the area. Players can help defend the camp and eliminate the main enemy of the invasion, an elite called Bonewalker.

When eliminated, Bonewalker's corpse drops Bonewalker's Shard on the ground which starts 
Daily Dark Forest: The Camp Defender. Turn-in the quest at General Womack for your reward. The quest can be completed once per day.
